The Event

The World Congress of Chinese Medicine (WCCM), organized by the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS), is a global scientific event of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The annual congress will be held on November 8-9th, 2019 in Hungary, after China, France, Canada, Singapore, Macau, Australia, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, USA, Russia, Spain, New Zealand, Thailand, Italy and Hungary in Budapest Congress Center in this year.

Dr. Chen Zhen focuses on the promotion and dissemination of TCM in Hungary, taking part in international work, as an active member of the Organizing Committee as Hungary’s member participates in organizing the congress. In the XVI. WCCM, a number of famous lecturers and professional exhibitors, TCM’s professors and experts come to Hungary from all over the world to share their theoretical research and clinical experience, scientific achievements and new developments. To the world- wide event also comes physicians from China to introduce the participants to their professional knowledge. The purpose of the Congress is to promote Traditional Chinese Medicine in Central and Eastern Europe, and to promote the use of this traditional healing knowledge for the health of the world’s population. The becoming familiar with the principles and expertise of TCM is an important part of tightening Chinese-Hungarian relations, has a positive impact on Hungarian health tourismand is one of the drivers of economic recovery.
